Microsoft launches free online cybersecurity course for learners in India

Microsoft aims to train 1 lakh learners in India by 2022 and close skills gap with free online cybersecurity course

Microsoft has launched a cybersecurity skills program that aims to train more than one million learners by 2022 to close the skills gap and empower India’s workforce for careers in cybersecurity. The free online course is designed to give learners hands-on experience with the fundamentals of security, compliance, and identity. Microsoft will organize these courses with its strategic consortium of partners, including Cloudthat, Koenig, RPS and Synergetics Learning. The course modules are designed to support all levels of learners, no matter where they are in their cybersecurity journey.

Microsoft has introduced four new security, compliance, and identity certifications, of which accredited certification for fundamentals will be offered free of charge to anyone who completes the associated training under this initiative. Additionally, together with its partners, Microsoft, is offering learners deeply discounted offers on the rest of the advanced role-based certifications to build in-depth skills to meet cybersecurity challenges.
